kerenah anak2

As usual, school holidays memang seronok. Anak2 balik bercuti & full with xtvts. Ini sebahagian xtvt kami dengan anak2 sepanjang cuti (tak larat nak upload banyak2). Walaupun tak dapat pursue our dream holiday for this year due to some reasons, we all happy menghabiskan cuti meronda2 di sekitar KL & Sgor. Aku prefer anak2 ada depan mata daripada dorang merayap ke rumah kawan2 atau berpeleseran sana sini.

Xtvt wajib... board game. Dah boring dengan Monopoli, main Scrabble pulak. Kekadang main dari pukul 10mlm sampai pukul 3 pagi, tak perasan langsung masa berlalu. Itulah yang dikatakan word power!

Satu lagi xtvt wajib. Makan2! This time @Dave Deli 1Utama.  Daniel & Afiq dengan roasted chicken, Awin pulak dengan her favourite fish & chips!

24 Dec, bday Qme. This year tak buat celebration apa2 pun. Cuma beli kek dan kami makan anak-beranak. Yummy!

Previous years, we all akan belikan dia hadiah. But this time, Qme choose apa yang dia nak... Nerf!

Bufday boy bergaya dengan Nerf baru. Nerf yang lama is a different version and smaller.

Minggu sebelumnya tengok Hantu Kak Limah Balik Rumah, now tengok Tron Legacy pulak. Masa tengok Tron rasa macam dalam game world pulak.

These two brothers akan berjumpa time school break saja next year. The reason, Daniel ke MRSM Melaka dan Afiq ke SM Sains Teluk Intan.

 Bowling time!

 Pizza time!

 Mukhriz dengan favourite menunya! Spagheti...

 Roasted chicken for Qme.

Dah besar panjang anak ibu....

Showing off!

Then, layan Qme main kereta nie kat Uptown Dsara.

Lepas tu layan si kakak shopping...

To Awin, tahniah kerana berjaya melalui zaman persekolahan dengan cemerlang, congrats for being the best! Afiq, I'm proud of you. Bila berjaya di tangga pertama, insyaAllah akan berjaya di tangga-tangga seterusnya, macam kakak dan abang. Congrats sebab dapat tawaran ke SM Sains Teluk Intan. To Daniel, well done sebab berjaya mengharungi tahun pertama di MRSM, I know you can do it, you just have to believe in yourself. To Mukhriz dan Qme, I believe both of you will follow their footstep because you guys have will and courage. To my dearest children, I love you all!

A letter to Awin, my daughter.

I can't begin to tell you how proud I am of you.  I've been given the opportunity to watch you grow form an incredibly cute small child into a beautiful young woman. You have achieved so much in such a short time that it’s hard for me to keep track of it all. Only yesterday you were just a tall skinny little girl and today you are graduating high school and running off to college, matrix or whatever the names are.

Though it may seem to you that it’s taken forever to reach this point, it had happened all too quickly for me. I’ll admit here that it saddens me to see you start the rest of your life, however it cannot compare to how happy and proud that I know that you are so well prepared and dedicated to your dreams. Never loose sight of those dreams and never compromise anything to reach them.

No matter what has happened in the past or what will happen in the future, always know that we love you and will always be here for you. You have made us so proud and I know that you will continue to do so.

Awin, the day has come to spread your wings. We all had faith you'd get there. Venture out into the world with hope and love and care. Chart your course carefully with guidance from above. Go forth and shine and show a little love. You've accomplished so much and now you can go... put one foot forward and let your dreams flow.

I know that you will face many more challenges as you move forward and begin creating a life of your own, but I also know that if you approach those challenges with the same love and courage that you have now, that you will find your way in life and you will be happy.

I have waited for this day, through twelve years of school. From the first day of kindergarden, as the tears streamed down my cheeks all the way to watching you walk down the isle to receive your scroll, these tears still stream from my cheeks. So proud to see you wear the gown. But, sad to see you leave your home town. I know you must go and find your pathway in life, I just hope it's without any strife. You have made me a very proud mother throughout the years, there is nothing I would not do for you, so if by chance you happen to stop by someday just to see your old room, I will meet you at the door with my arms held open to embrace you and these tears streaming down my cheeks, not because I am sad, but, because you have grown into a wonderful woman.

 Goodbye, dear friend and graduate!
Our golden time is over now.

I’m so proud of all that you have accomplished, all that you have created, and all that you have done with your life so far… I can’t wait to see what the future will hold for you!

Whatever you do, do it with all your heart.  You are smart enough to do anything you want to do, you just have to make up your mind that you are going to do it.  Don’t let anyone beat you down.  Don’t settle for second best, you deserve the best of the best.

Young woman, our daughter, our joy and our heart,
You've reached the end only to find a new start.
The world sees the young woman
with her charm and her smile,
but behind the woman,
I will always see the child.

saturday nite fever

Since we were planning a whole day of heavy xtvts, we headed to Selera Bonda for our brunch. Full of energy after brunch, we headed straight to buy our kid's school uniforms, shoes etc. Alhamdulillah... the heavy part settled except for stationaries.

Then, kami terus ke 1U. The kids nak sangat tengok filem Hantu Kak Limah Balik Rumah. We reach there 4 o'clock. Show 5:30pm dah full, terus book show 7:30pm. Dalam hati, sempat la nak window shopping.

Macam biasa... pretzel will always be our 'in-between-meal'.  Mulanya ingat nak main bowling tapi semua alley penuh sebab ada tournament 'rombongan cik kiah' mana ntah. We decided to come back after tengok Hantu Kak Limah.

Sesi menunggu panggung dibuka. Ramai juga suka citer melayu rupanya. Tapi memang tak rugi tengok Hantu Kak Limah Balik Rumah. Tak kering gusi dibuatnya... dari awal sampai habis, memang kelakar. Komedinya very natural. Aku syorkan sesiapa yang nak bawa anak2 tengok wayang, tengoklah citer nie. Kelakar giler!

As promised, keluar jer dari panggung, terus ke tempat bowling. Time tu almost 10pm tapi ramainya orang, tak tercakap. Ramai family sebenarnya, dorang bawa anak masing2 main bowling, like us.

Sungguh tak disangka, pemain cilik ini STRIKE sampai dua kali! Ceh! Hampeh betul. Tak padan dengan kecik.  Bravo, Qme!

The score!
We reached home @11:45pm... kepenatan.

KL International Motor Show

Organized by the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA), KLIMS 2010 will run for a total 10 days from the 3rd to the 12th of December. KLIMS is back for its 7th installment! This year’s extravaganza promises to showcase some of the world’s latest and hottest automotive wonders.

We were here on the 4th Dec.  As we approached the place, there were hardly any queue. We took the turn and got a parking spot at The Mall, opposite PWTC without much hassle.

Queued up for tickets - cost us RM40. There was no floor plans provided with the ticket, but we soon learned that there was no real need for one.

Lucky draw!  Only one lucky visitor to KLIMS 2010 will be driving home a brand new Toyota Prius hybrid vehicle. Among other prizes to be won includes a 3day/2night getaway.

 Hmmm! Where to go?

The exhibition was held over five large halls.

The first one was dominated by Perodua. This is the Perodua Bezza. I admire the 'petit' design especially the back slide door.

I must credit Proton for making their presence felt in a classy way. Proton did a very good job. Their booths were simple but elegant. They had many new upcoming models on show, including the five of the Malacca Warriors - The Hangs: Tuah, Jebat, Kasturi, Lekir and Lekiu.

With Proton’s Group Managing Director Dato’ Haji Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir at the Proton's booth. The Proton booth also handed carry-on bags for each visitors, but they were empty, it should be filled with brochures and product informations.

Attractions include one of the three future generation Lotus sports cars... Espirit.

 Another Lotus sports car.

Proton also produced a hybrid concept, but according to the sales team, is still a prototype.

The well known yellow Chevy Camaro SS, Bumblebee, a character from the Hollywood Blockbuster, Transformers.

 Another Proton's prototype.

Third hall was where the Harley-Davidson, Ducati stalls were located. Affiq with Ducati 848 EVO.

Nasim Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of the Peugeot cars in Malaysia, launched the Peugeot 5008. This is one super elegant car with a transparent roof!

This was a dissapointment. This batmobile was made by cardboard and clay, siap ada roda troli kat bawah kereta Batman tu and they charge you RM15 for one photo! Giler ke ape?!

Exhibit from Naza World.

Fortunately, some brands took the effort to bring in concept cars to make the entrance fee more worthwhile. Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia outdid its peers by bringing in two concepts showcasing its EV technology.

On our way out, we saw this pic.
Merdeka!

Frankly, dalam banyak2 kereta yang dipamerkan in all 5 halls, yang di luar Pasific Hotel yang betul2 menarik perhatian kami sekeluarga. FYI, a man in red shirt is the owner! Dalam hati aku, "muat ke dia naik nie?"

Another one yang di display kan di luar, Lotus Evora.

Sebijik lagi brand Lotus...

Ferrari! Siapalah empunya kereta ni agaknya! Kalau sebut Ferrari, aku teringat kat Michael Shcumacher jer.

Satu lagi Lotus... yang ini ngam2 tinggi Qme. Confirm aku tak boleh drive sebab kaki panjang!

Melaram dengan 'handbag' baru... beg free dari Proton. Dah selesai semua, baru terasa lapar. Apa lagi, serbu Aunt Anne's kat The Mall. Q nak beli pretzel lebih kurang macam 'q' nak beli tiket KLIMS!

Overall, it was not as bad as the publicity suggested. Yes, there were a few tacky attraction.  Granted, there were many weaknesses, but we as the public should support such an event.
