no-no to yo-yo dieting!

Rome wasn't built in a day and weight loss doesn't happen overnight! Lately aku betul2 strict dgn diet aku. Tak ada kompromi! Sebabnya macam2 aku dah cuba tapi tak menjadi. Kali ini aku nak mencuba dengan determination pulak (dulu dieting, aku treat macam biskut, kejap on, kejap off. hehehe...). Trying to lose weight without any self-control is like riding a bicycle without handlebars!


Pagi, aku minum jus epal hijau (no orange juice bcoz me & oranges not in good-terms). Epal hijau nie aku blend sendiri. Pure, tak mixed dengan gula or whatsoever. "Here's to my health!"



For breakfast, biskut tawar atau biskut masin yang dicicah dgn teh O. No more nasi lemak or roti canai. A lil' dietary change maybe just the ticket, it may take some adjustment, but the change of pace will eventually pay off at the scales.



Inilah penyelamat aku untuk lunch & dinner atau bila aku rasa lapar. Buah tembikai merupakan compulsory stock dalam fridge aku. Start the habit of eating fruits before your meals, you'll surprise at how it helps to extinguish the "hungrys" ! It does work for me!


Then, in between, selain plain water, aku minum jus kiwi. Thank you to my soulmate sebab belikan jus kiwi ni. People really do need each other. That's the way we are made. Most projects are made easier when you have a coworker! 


Kalau makan luar, aku mesti order tomyam (tanpa nasi putih) atau laksa penang. Or worst come to worst, ikan siakap kukus (also tanpa nasi). Variety is a good alternative for the dietary ho-hums!


Hari tu, masa gathering JKS, aku chose roasted chicken @kenny rogers 1 Utama. Mujur they have special menu for dieters, so tak yah pening2 kepala nak pilih. Afterall, I'm responsible for the choices I make.


Then, wiken, aku akan cycle kat taman permainan area rumah aku plus 2 or 3 times per week, without fail, aku attend morning class aerobic. Tapi buat masa nie, aku kena rest due to my knee injury. Proper eating dan proper exercise both have their place in dieting.


Front: me, hani (kc), aida (kenot), yatt (tokei kek), shikin (standing) dan sue bellenza.


Dieting takes some skipping. We don't neccessarily have to skip everything that taste good. For example, time kenduri di rumah Shikin. Kononnya "Dont allow the host to determine what you will eat." At first, yes, aku stick dengan falsafah tu but later, when the caterer came, aku mula breaking all the rules! Tapi break sikit jer. Bak kata Hani, "Tak apa, hari ni kita pulun, esok kita puasa!" Hahaha...

woo hoo! bagus betul yr regimen ni...very the strict one! good good! akunyer diet pun lebih kurang cam ko gak...except aku tmbh cereal n yogurt n sometimes roti wholemeal bile rasa lapar semacam. klu aku gi jenjalan ngan famili, aku order sup mcm ko gak cicah ngan bun/toast ataupun salad kalo depa ada menu tu..

aku baca kat artikel mana tah, org pempuan ni berat badan turun lambat sket dari org lelaki tapi consistent so dont feel disheartened kalau lmbt sangat turun dlm semggu or sebulan. bak kata pepatah melayu, sedikit2 lama jadi bukit ;)-
